The process form initial booking for template to installation

Once cupboards have been completely installed by the cabinetmaker/joiner and the quote for benchtops is accepted, the following process occurs:

  1. Templating date is booked in by contacting our office.
  2. On templating day, sink(s), basin(s), hotplates(s) and tapware will be required by our site measurer to obtain a successful template. All templates created by Chesini House are digital and created by a special computer called a "Proliner" (see video).
  3. The digital file is programmed for cutting to size and is transmitted to our "Donatoni CNC saw" (see video) which will cut out the benchtops as measured.
  4. Each piece for the benchtop will then be edged to the exacting specification on a "Comandulli edge polisher" (see video).
  5. Sink and hotplate cutouts (and any other detailed work such as undermount sinks, drain grooves etc.) are then completed by our "Intermac Master 33 CNC" (see video).
  6. Each job is then assembled in our factory and our qualified craftsmen check the whole job over to ensure the quality meets our stringent guidelines.
  7. Each job is then packed onto A-frames. Once the benchtop is ready for dispatch, our office will contact you to book in an installation day.
  8. The timeframe from when a successful template is acquired to installation day typically takes 12-15 working days. This may vary depending on material availability, workload etc and is indicative only.
